Sealant according to the type of different use of different industries
2020-10-28 16:10:52

According to the different types of sealant, different industries are used. No matter what industry is used, preparation measures should be taken before use. For example, for the use of door and window sealing, the dirty things on the doors and windows should be removed first, and then used, so as to increase the sealing effect.

Silicone sealant

The condition limit of sealant is what kind of environment to use what kind of product, which can ensure the sealing quality. The aerospace industry also requires that the sealing material can adapt to some special environmental requirements, such as vacuum resistance, radiation resistance, pollution-free, non-toxic, high and low temperature resistance and corrosion resistance of aviation fuel and rocket propellant. The sealing materials used in aerospace industry mainly include polysulfide rubber, silicone rubber and polyurethane sealant.

Therefore, we found that the use of any commodity precautions are very important, only the construction method is correct, the construction quality can be well guaranteed, only to understand the use of product precautions can reduce many misunderstandings for constructors, avoid the impact of construction projects, and improve the construction efficiency.

At present, there are many types of sealants in the market, and different sealants have different application fields. Before purchasing sealants, we should first confirm the purpose of the sealant purchased by ourselves and what the sealant is used for. Only in this way can we achieve twice the result with half the effort when purchasing and using the sealant.

It is not suitable to be used on the surface of building materials with grease, plasticizer or other solvents, corrosive to copper, brass and other metals, and not suitable for all kinds of stone and iron carbide matrix materials. It can not be used blindly fast, so the quality of the project will be affected. Of course, too slow curing speed can also lead to problems such as pollution of stone materials. Therefore, it is suggested that the drying time should be about 20-50 min at room temperature.
